The Atlanta Community Symphony Orchestra invites you to experience its 68th anniversary during the 2025-2026 season with Take Flight – a musical journey that soars through unity, imagination, celebration, and legacy. Join the Atlanta Community Symphony Orchestra for its 68th season, Take Flight—a musical journey through unity, imagination, celebration, and legacy. Under the leadership of Robert Trocina, John Thomas Dodson, and David Philip Reesman, the season features beloved masterworks including Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5, Dvořák’s “New World” Symphony, Britten’s Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra, and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.

Enjoy orchestral favorites like Shostakovich’s Festive Overture and Bernstein’s Overture to Candide, plus holiday cheer in Winter Classics, with sing-alongs and festive selections. Families won’t want to miss Heroes vs. Villains—a film-themed concert featuring music from Star Wars, Harry Potter, The Dark Knight, and more, complete with costumes and student artwork.

New this year: the Ruth Kern Featured Artist Series, spotlighting emerging soloists and music by groundbreaking women composers including Florence Price and Louise Farrenc.
